Video | Thousands Participate In Funeral Prayers Of Slain Budgam Militant

Srinagar: Thousands of people on Thursday participated in the funeral prayers of a militant killed in Zagoo gunfight earlier today.

Witnesses said that people amid massive pro-freedom and pro-Pakistan slogans marched through Brass village of Khansahib in Budgam district to participate in the funeral prayers of slain militant Mukhtar Ahmad.

Mukhtar was killed alongwith an accomplice in the wee hours today after the army and special operations group (SOG) of police engaged them in a gunfight. One army man also sustained injury in the gun-battle, police said.
