Kishtawar killings condemnable : Er. Rasheed

Says exchange of allegations over proposed bus service between Lahoor and China ample proof that J&K is disputed territory

Srinagar 2 November 2018 (PR): Condemning the murder of BJP leader Anil Parihaar and his brother at Kishtwar at the hands of unknown gunmen AIP President Er. Rasheed has said that violence must stop and it brings nothing except destruction. In a statement issued today Er. Rasheed said “There could be no justification to these killings and whosoever gets killed is loss to humanity”. Er. Rasheed demanded impartial probe into these killings and appealed masses to maintain communal harmony in the area. Er. Rasheed while commenting on New Delhi’s sharp reaction over proposed bus service between Pakistan and China passing through the disputed territory of J&K, appealed two countries not to fight for the land but give the people on both the sides of LOC Right to self determination, so that they decide their future and entire south Asia comes out of uncertainty. Er. Rasheed said “The concerns raised by New Delhi are somehow genuine but for the lack of sincerity they make no significance. While world has been reduced to a global village people of J&K cannot be deprived of their right to compete with the rest of the world to achieve a better and prosperous economic goal. While trade has taken the central stage in the current world order CPEC can help in changing destiny of people of Pakistan Administered Kashmir. Had there been no conflict between India and Pakistan, CPEC could have been extended to this part of J&K and rest of India and the entire region could have benefitted from it. It looks laughable when New Delhi claims Pakistan Administered Kashmir to be its own territory but ignoring the fact that it is under complete control of Pakistan. If New Delhi truly believes Pak including Gilgit Baltistan to be its integral part, it must show its willingness for a plebiscite as promised in UN resolutions, so that people on both sides of LOC chose India as their destiny.” Er. Rasheed added that the exchange of allegations and claims over CPEC between India and Pakistan are ample proof to conclude that J&K is neither India’s integral part nor Pakistan’s jugular vein, however by just opposing CPEC it is clear that New Delhi is interested in grabbing the land of J&K and has no love for its people. He said  if New Delhi believes J&K to be its integral part and it has a right to oppose the bus service from Kashghar to Lahore passing through  Pakistan Administered Kashmir, it must explain why it has failed to provide even a normal four lane road between Jammu & Srinagar.
