‘Casheer’ campaign concludes at SSMD School of Design

Srinagar: SSMD School Of Design successfully completed the campaign ‘Casheer’ in collaboration with Dhruv Bandwal a leading Fashion Designer.
This campaign was a great boon for the local artisans and craftsmen as they got the opportunity to showcase their talent on an international platform. It was highly encouraging and highlighted the craftsmanship of local artisans said Muzaffar Ahmad Najar a local handicraft artisan.
After completion of campaign Insha S Qazi Director SSMD School of Design said that it was a three month long designing process a fusion of Kashmiri heritage embroidery as inspiration and provided an excellent employment opportunity to the skilled female artisans who are in dire need of work while preferring to work from home.
The local fashion designing students will get the opportunity to face the real corporate fashion world for the first time in history of Kashmir.
Dhruv Bandwal is a Delhi based noted Fashion designer and also founder of his brand name ‘Dhruv Bandwal’. He is best known for his ability to infuse Indian Rajasthan artistry and textile heritage with his delineation.
Dhruv Bandwal is also associated with SSMD school of Fashion and Design as advisory panelist to execute activities through workshops for students.
And has successfully completed Design did two successful campaigns in Rajasthan which helped improve the tourism of Mandawa and Bermar with the help of Rajasthan tourism and print and electronic media. The campaigns were a huge success. Harautti Doriyan (Mandawa Campaign, Surabha (Barmer Campaign).
