Sajad Lone to address press conference at 5:30pm at VIP 4 church lane
Srinagar, Nov 06: In a major boost for Peoples Conference, its candidate Junaid Azam Mattu won mayoral elections of Srinagar on Tuesday.
In a keenly contested election where it was literally PC on side and all other parties on the other side, Junaid won by 14 votes.
This is the first major foray of PC into Srinagar city.
As per Sources that PC was supported by Imran Ansari and Abid Ansari, While Irfan Ansari came out openly. Yasir Reshi reportedly coordinated the elections behind the scenes.
The PC chairman Sajad Gani Lone is likely to address a press conference at 5: 30 pm at VIP 4 church lane.
