Hurriyat (M) pays tributes to slain Pulwama militants

Srinagar, Nov 10 (PR): Hurriyat Conference (M) paid glowing tributes to three armed youth martyred in two separate gunfights in Tral and Pulwama—Anwar Ahmed, Liyaqat Wani and Wajidul Islam stating that the youth are spilling their blood on daily basis only to free their homeland from the clutches of illegal occupation and that their sacrifices will never go vain. Hurriyat (M) said that the sacrifices of youth are priceless assets of Kashmir’s freedom struggle which will be protected by the resistance leadership and the people of Kashmir on all fronts.

In a statement issued to KPS, Hurriyat Conference (M) said that it’s high time that the people of Kashmir forge unity and remain steadfastness so that the ongoing movement is taken to its logical conclusion.
Hurriyat (M) said strongly condemned the use of brute force on the peaceful protestors in south Kashmir districts leaving dozens of youth seriously injured. It said that people of south Kashmir have been left at the mercy of forces who have made the life of people living there a hell.
Hurriyat Conference (M) denounced the arrest of two students of Central University Kashmir and termed their arrest as highly undemocratic adding, that forces are using their unbridled powers across Kashmir and now students too are being made targets which is highly condemnable.
Hurriyat (M) said that GoI instead of understanding the ground situation in Kashmir is banking on the military might to suppress the genuine aspirations of people through fear and intimidations. It said that while as resistance leadership is not allowed to move out of their homes to meet people on one hand, and on the other youth of Kashmir are pushed to wall leaving them with no option other than to choose armed means of resistance to fight the oppression.
Meanwhile, APHC chairman and Mutahida Majlis-e-Ulema Mirwaiz Umar Farooq will deliver a sermon on the occasion of Khawja Digar ( congregational Asr prayers) at the shrine of Hazrat Khawja Naqahsband (RA) Khawja Bazar on Monday (3 Rabiul Awal) where he will shed light on the life of revered saint and also talk about the importance of Islamic month Rabiul Awal, in which beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was born.
