Qayoom Wani hails Secretary Education for his teacher friendly approach
SRINAGAR, NOV 13 : Senior JCC leader, President Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) and chairman Teachers Joint Action Committee (TJAC) Ab Qayoom Wani has hailed the efforts of Secretary Education Ajit Kumar Sahu for resolution of chronic issues of Teachers at an earliest especially implementation of 7th Pay Commission in favour of Teachers, Head teachers working under SSA and Masters, Headmasters working under RMSA, roadmap for linking of their salaries with State sector and creation of posts.
Wani while furnishing the details of the meeting with worthy Secretary Education at Civil Secretariat on 12th November raised the above mentioned issues of Teachers, Head teachers, Masters and Headmasters working under SSA and RMSA.
The other issues which were raised during the meeting like Regularisation of Pending RET’s cases and time bound promotion for RRETs and SSA teachers, filling up of all vacant posts of Joint Directors, CEOs, HODs, Principals, ZEOs, ZEPOs, Headmasters, Lecturers in different streams, Masters, Regularisation of all incharge officers, Pay anomaly of Masters, inclusion of rendered service of Mig Substitute teachers, providing infrastructure to all Govt Schools.
Wani also urged upon worthy Secretary Education, that examination from class 1st to 9th should be conducted at school level in all educational institutions. He also demanded for empowerment, encouragement and ownership to the teaching fraternity so that they can contribute as per the aspirations of the parents in particular and common people in General.
EJAC President assured Secretary Education that Teachers do not want come on roads but unnecessary delay in resolving their issues and step motherly treatment with Govt Sector and Govt Teachers compels them to do so, otherwise Teachers are duty bound to shape the future of students in their class rooms.
Secretary Education assured that Government is committed to implement the decision of Governor of the state regarding implementation of 7th Pay Commission in favour of SSA teachers, Head teachers and RMSA Masters and Headmasters and linking of their salaries with State sector and these issues will be sorted out within days as per the aspirations of teaching community.
During the meeting Secretary Education said that Advisor to Governor Khursheed Ahmad Ganie, Chief Secretary B.V Subramanyium, Principal Secretary Finance Naveen Chowdhary are committed enough to resolve the issues at an earliest as per the directives of His Excellency Governor of the state Satya Pal Malik.
TJAC chairman hailed the efforts of Secretary Education Ajit Kumar Sahu and his commitment and desire for upliftment Education standard in the state besides improving the work culture. Wani assured full support to the secretary Education for upliftment of education standard. Improving work culture for the betterment of student and teaching community.
