Trade Fair : 66 metro stations to sell tickets
New Delhi, Nov 13: With a view to provide hassle-free visit to the India International Trade Fair, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will sell entry tickets of the fair, scheduled to be held from November 14.
The tickets will be available at only 66 selected metro stations Dilshad Garden, Shahdara, Seelampur, Inderlok, Netaji Subhash Place, Rohini West, Rithala, Samaypur Badli, Jahangir Puri, Azadpur, GTB Nagar, Vishwavidyalaya, Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, INA, Hauz Khas, Malviya Nagar, Saket, MG Road, Huda City Centre, Noida City Centre, Noida Sector -15, Akshardham, Indraprastha, Mandi House, Barakhamba, RK Ashram, Karol Bagh, Rajendra Place, Shadipur, Kirti Nagar, Rajouri Garden, Subhash Nagar, Tilak Nagar, Uttam Nagar East, Dwarka Mor, Vaishali, Kaushambi and Anand Vihar.
The other stations are Karkarduma, Preet Vihar, Nirman Vihar, Laxmi Nagar, Ashok Park Main, Peeragarhi, Nangloi, Mundka, Bus Stand, Kashmere Gate -6, Delhi Gate, ITO, Lajpat Nagar, Kalkaji Mandir, Govind Puri, Badarpur Border, Escort Mujesar, Durgabai Deshmukh, South Extension, Sarojini Nagar, Welcome, Shiv Vihar, JanakPuri West, Palam, Munirka, Botanical Garden and Dwarka Sector-21.
The tickets can be availed from 0830 hrs to 1630 hrs on all days from metro stations and can be booked online, a DMRC spokesperson said on Tuesday.
To make the visit smooth, the trade fair authorities has also decided to sell 50 per cent of its tickets in advance while rest of tickets can be purchased by visitors on the same day from metro stations. The advance ticket sale would begin from November 14.
The trade fair has earmarked four days — November 14-17 — for business and rest of days — from November 18-27 — for public. The business days entry tickets per person are priced at Rs 500 while season tickets are priced at Rs 1800.
The entry tickets for public on weekdays are priced at Rs 60 for adult and Rs 40 for child while on weekends or holidays it is Rs 120 for adult and Rs 60 for child.
To cater to the rush during the Trade Fair, additional ticketing counters, guards, officers and staff will be deployed at Pragati Maidan metro station and other stations as required, the spokesperson added. (UNI)
