Brigadier-level flag meet held at LoC to control tension
Poonch, Nov 23: Amid ceasefire violations and a number of sniper attacks along the LoC in the border districts of Poonch and Rajouri, the officers of India and Pakistan on Friday held a flag meeting to control the situation.
The brigadier-level flag meeting was held at Pooch-Rawalkote crossing point on the Line of Control (LoC) to control the tension between the two countries.
Brigadier VS Sekhon from Indian side and Brigadier Qasir from Pakistan side agreed that they will not violate 2003 ceasefire agreement.
A number of sniper attacks took place along LoC since last fortnight or so in Rajouri district and neighbouring Poonch, killing at least five soldiers and injuring several others.
