Police to ask Pakistan to take Naveed’s body
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Director general of police Dilbagh Singh on Wednesday said they will write to Home ministry to ask them to inform Pakistan to take body of slain Lashkar commander Naveed Jatt.
Jutt, one of the most wanted commander and top gun of Lashkar-e-Toiba was killed in early morning gunfight in Budgam.
Singh who addressed reporters here urged parents of militants to appeal their wards to shun militancy.
According to him, recruitment of militants has declined drastically and that stone pelting protests have also sharply come down.
He said Jhatt managed to escape in six encounters but the forces finally managed to pin him down on Wednesday.
