Protests rock Kashmir University against militant commander Naveed Jatt’s killing

Srinagar: Scores of Kashmir University students on Wednesday held a massive protest demonstration in the varsity campus against the killing of top Lashkar commander Naveed Jatt in a gunfight with government forces in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Sources said that the students marched through the varsity campus and raised pro freedom slogans.

The students, they said, also held funeral prayers in absentia for the slain militant commander.
