Six injured in road accident at Kangan
Kangan: Six persons were injured in a road accident at Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal Wednesday afternoon.
Officials said that the a private vehicle on its way to Srinagar from Kargil collided with a Tata Mini Bus (Matador) coming from opposite direction at Mamar Kangan on the Srinagar-Leh highway in Ganderbal district resulting in injuries to six persons.
The injured persons have been identified as Mohammed Irfan balti son of Mohammed Hussain, Sujat Ali son of Murtaza Ali, Mohammed Hussain Balti son of Ali Mohammed Balti all residents of Kargil and Arpeeta Ajaz daughter of Ajaz Ahmad shah Yasmeena begum wife of Ajaz Ah Shah and driver Ashiq Ahmad kumar son of Mohammed Ramzan kumar all resident of Fraw Gund.
All the injured were shifted to nearby sub-district hospital Kangan for medical assistance where doctors referred Kargil residents to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.
