Jammu, Dec 1: The sleuths of Crime Branch on Saturday nabbed a Gujjar leader in fraud case, official spokesman here said.
He said that a team of Crime Branch, Jammu, led by Inspector Gurmeet Singh arrested one Nazakat Khatana, resident of Doda Basti, Beli Charana, Jammu in fraud case.
The spokesman said that the accused is involved in cheating poor and gullible people by making false promises on the pretext of providing Jobs and plots for them at Beli Charana thereby duping them of their hard earned money.
“The arrested accused is on Police remand with Crime Branch, Jammu for 10 days for further investigation.
If any person has any complaint for being duped by the accused, can approach the crime branch,” he added.(UNI)
