Sensex surges by 1,213 28 points in week ended Nov 30, 2018

Mumbai, Dec 1: The Benchmark Index of Bombay Stock Exchange rose 1,213.28 points or 3.47 per cent to settle at 36,194.30 on steady decline in crude oil prices, amid positive global cues in the week under review.

Firmness in Rupee also boosted the investor sentiments. The barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, regained the psychological 36,000 level during the week.

The Nifty 50 index rose 350 points or 3.32 percent to settle at 10,876.75 Indices logged gains on all five trading sessions during the week.(UNI)
