3 drug peddlers arrested in south Kashmir

Anantnag, Dec 8 Three drug peddlers were arrested during two different operations in south Kashmir during the past 24 hours, a police spokesman said here.

He said on a tip off, police established a naka checking at Sangam chowk on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway. During the naka, a suspected person was intercepted, he said, adding that during his search, police recovered huge quantity of codeine phosphate.

The drug peddler has been identified as Amir Ali Chopan, resident of Rajpora Pulwama.
