Detailed Video Report | All J&K contractual lecturers 10+ 2 Stages Protest at Srinagar,Demand regularization

Srinagar: scores of contractual lecturers gathered at Press colony Srinagar to raise their voice against the long pending Grievance /demand for regularization as per civil services special 2010 in which the government has decided to regularize all the adhoc, contractual, consolidated employees.

While Talking to KPS,Gurjeet Singh president of the union told that in 2003 a Policy was framed by the government through order no 1301- Edu of 2003 In which it is clearly mentioned that the lecturers appointed on academic arrangement against this order will be regularized after 3 years in 2003 the term academic arrangement was changed to contractual by order number 1534-Edu of 2003 in which it is mentioned that all such arrangements will be on contractual basis in future in 2009 CAD department has issued an order in which it is mentioned that the persons appointed on contractual basis are continued till further orders through orders No 1328 GAD of 2003.

Gurjeet Singh Requested through media to His Excellency the Governor cf J&k and the worthy Advisors to resolve the grievance on the same pattern as they resolved the grievance of RRT and SSA teachers he also mentioned that all the said lecturers have been appointed after qualifying the exam which was conducted by the Department of education through Director School Education Kashmir,Jammu on Provence basis he requested to continue the lecturers on permanent basis until the case is resolved.

On this occasion Mr. Javaid Coordinator of the union requested worthy Governor to save the future of the highly educated youth who has been exploited since decades on a meager salary for the only hope of regularization.
