Srinagar: Mother of Kashmir Reader editor-in-chief and owner Haji Hayat Mohammad Bhat passed away on Thursday afternoon at their home in Pampore after brief illness.
Media fraternity and all walks of life have condoles the sad demise and prays for peace to departed soul and courage to bereaved family to bear this loss. According to family sources, her Rasm-e-charum will be held on Sunday 16 December at their ancestral graveyard Kadlabal, Astan Road, Pampore.
Kashmir Journalists Association (KJA) has expressed heartfelt condolences over the sad demise of Rehti Begum, mother of Editor-in-Chief Daily Kashmir Reader, Haji Hayat Bhat.
She left for heavenly abode this afternoon after brief illness.
KJA expresses grief over the death and prays for the bereaved family and the eternal peace of the departed soul.
