Despite strong communal forces in state, the unity still exists in sensitive area Kishtwar on genuine cause

Both community, Hindu-Muslim, observed shutdown in Kishtwar against innocent killings in Pulwama

Kishtwar, Dec16: The both community, Hindu-Muslim, observed a complete shutdown in the town area of Kishtwar district on Sunday against innocent killings in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The shutdown call was given by Imam Jamia Kishtwar Mr. Farooq Ahmad Kitchloo on yesterday which was followed today accordingly by both communities while few shops were open to provide necessary items to the hospital patients as these shops were adjacent to it otherwise the rest of area was completely shut.
It is pertinent to mention here that three militants and an army man were killed in an encounter at Sirnoo village of Pulwama district, while seven civilians were killed after the forces opened fire on protesters.
As per the reports, the shutdown is being observed in Banihal, Doda, Thathri, Gondoh and Bhaderwah of Chenab valley following the shutdown called by the Anjuman-e-Islamia Bhaderwah, Seerat Committee Doda and Majlis-e-Shoura Committee in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir State.
