More than 700 Syrians returned to Homeland from abroad
Damascus, Dec 20 Over 700 Syrian refugees, including 361 minors, have returned to their home country from Jordan and Lebanon over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defence Ministry’s Center for the Reception, Allocation and Accommodation of Refugees said on Thursday.
“Over the past day, in total 709 people returned to the Syrian Arab Republic from the territory of foreign states, 212 people (63 women and 108 children) left Lebanon for Syria via the Jaydet-Yabus and Talkalakh CPs (checkpoints), and 497 people (149 women and 253 children) from Jordan via the Nasib CP,” the center said in its daily bulletin.
In total, 69,777 people have returned to Syria from abroad since July 2018, including 31,798 people coming back from Lebanon and 37,979 from Jordan.
