Bandipora: Dozens of National Conference workers on Thursday held a protest rally in Bandipora against the recent civilian killings in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The protestors raised slogans against governor’s administration and accused it of ‘perpetrating atrocities on innocent Kashmiris’
The protestors were led by National Conference district president Bandipora, Gulam Rasool Naz.
He said that government should stop perpetrating atrocities on innocent Kashmiris.
“We strongly condemn the recent civilian killings in Pulwama at the hands of government forces. Even children and women are not being spared. The government should try to win the hearts of Kashmiris instead of killing them, “he said.
The protestors later marched towards mini-secretariat Bandipora and submitted a memorandum to additional deputy commissioner Bandipora.
