Delhi admitted pro-freedom leaders are real representatives of Kashmiris: Geelani
PR: Indian leadership has now openly admitted that Pro-freedom leaders are the real representatives and main stakeholders of Kashmir and the issue cannot be resolved without them, this was stated by All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman, Syed Ali Geelani, reacting to the Indian Home Minister’s statement in Indian Parliament wherein he said that “if the doors would not have been shut by Hurriyat, Kashmir issue could have been resolved”.
He said that Indian rulers are very well aware of the fact that people’s aspiration, emotions and sentiments are represented by pro-freedom leadership. This acceptance of the ground realities should have culminated in practicality, when Indian leaders talk about “dialogue” to resolve the long pending dispute.
Regarding the Indian Home Minister’s statement about the dialogue and shutting doors on Parliamentary Delegation, Hurriyat chairman said that Indian government never officially invited us, but at the same time blame us of rejecting it. It is not only shameful but speaks volumes about their truthfulness, sincerity and clarity. They tried to play a game of win only for them as they just wanted to discredit us as whether we accept their offer of dialogue which never came or we ignore their casual personal gestures. Hurriyat chairman further said that India is scared of any meaningful dialogue with Hurriyat and Pakistan, as they have occupied this land illegally and forcefully by their military might using repeated lies and unabated surplus violence.
He further said that sole intention of the delegation was to act as firefighting just to derail and fizzle out the momentum through these age old tactics, as they have been doing whenever Kashmiries stood up for their basic rights. He said that in a similar situation of 2010 people’s uprising, we have warmly welcomed every delegation and had thread bear discussion, but they never responded back.
Hurriyat chairman said that seriousness of our occupier could well be judged by the fact that local stooge in the chair at that time couldn’t dare to invite the pro-freedom leaders in her official capacity, but very cunningly did it as head of a regional party, because that would definitely have annoyed her partners in crime.
He said that propagators of joining North and South pole, very shortly realized the fact that fate of henchmen at the hands of oppressor is always same, be it any so-called towering political legend or a fresh miniature, that is why they again started to do politics on dead ones.
Hurriyat chairman said that we are fighting for a just cause and no oppressive measure can deter us from pursuing our path and our nation has proved it beyond doubt for last 71 years.
India is using an imperialistic attitude in Jammu and Kashmir to crush our movement of right to self-determination. Since 1947 our nation has rendered unparalleled sacrifices, but India has not been able to suppress our emotions with this brutality. This was stated by All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman, Syed Ali Geelani in is telephonic address to the mourners of the martyrs Zubair Ahmad and Arshid Ahmad martyred at Gulshanpora Tral.
Paying rich tributes to martyr Syed Ali Geelani said “our youth lay their lives to end the Indian forced occupation and reiterated his pledge to take the ongoing movement to its logical end. We will never allow any body to barter with the precious blood of martyrs, he said. We need to be aware of this and we are duty bound to safe guard their sacrifices and should desist from such activities which prove harmful for our movement, Hurriyat chairman said
