Train service suspended for security reasons in south Kashmir
Srinagar, Jan 4 Train service was on Friday suspended for security reasons in south Kashmir, where three militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Pulwama on Thursday.
However, trains were running normally as per schedule in north Kashmir.
A railway official told agencies that an advisory was received this morning to suspend train service in south Kashmir for security reasons. There was apprehension of trouble as the three militants, who were killed in an encounter on Thursday are residents of Pulwama.
