Srinagar, Jan 7: A man was killed when an unidentified vehicle hit him on Monday morning in the central Kashmir district of Ganderbal, official sources said.
Fayaz Ahmad (35), working as a sweeper with Municipal Committee (MC) Ganderbal, was on duty at Beehama market, when an unidentified vehicle hit him.
He was immediately rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.
A case has been registered and a massive hunt launched to trace the absconding driver.
