Srinagar, Jan 14 :The chilly weather conditions have intensified as the night temperature dipped considerably and settled several degree below freezing point across Kashmir valley, where world famous tourist resort of Pahalgam recorded minus 14.6 degree, the coldest January night in five years.
However, Kashmir valley witnessed a sunny day for the second successive day on Monday though intense ice cold winds continued.
A Met department spokesperson said that weather will remain dry during the next 48 hours in Kashmir valley, which could result in further dip in the night temperature.
