Jammu, Jan 14 : As many as nine passengers suffered injuries when their vehicle skidded off road and plunged into a gorge at Patnitop in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir, police sources said on Monday.”A vehicle carrying tourists coming from Jammu to Patnitop via Batote fell down into 60-70 feet deep gorge,” police sources added.
Police, CRPF and locals launched a rescue operation immediately, they said.
The injured people were rushed to the government hospital Batote,for further treatment.
