EJAC family bereaved, veteran trade union leader Ab. Salaam Rajpori is no more

SRINAGAR, JAN 15 : President Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) Ab. Qayoom Wani expressed his deep shock and sorrow over the sad demise of Veteran Trade union leader EJAC vice president, President electric employees Union Ab. Salaam Rajpori who died yesterday after suffering a major heart attack during electric employees meeting at Basant Bagh Srinagar.

 

After hearing this sad news Wani immediately rushed to the valley and an emergency condolence meeting was held at SRTC head office Lal Chowk in which all the leaders of EJAC and representatives of affiliated Unions with EJAC participated and Special prayers were offered to the departed soul, After the condolence meeting a high level delegation lead by President EJAC Ab. Qayoom rushed to Rajpura Pulwama to offer heartfelt Condolences to the family of Late Ab. Salam Rajpuri.. While paying tributes to Mr. Rajpori Wani said that I was always inspired by Rajpora as a trade union leader. He said that he was a real son of the soil with sense of belonging.

 

Wani termed this demise as a personal loss, he said that Rajpori was always leading from the front and utilize his all potential to fight against injustice and for the restoration of rights and honour of employee fraternity.

 

EJAC president said that Rajpori was my inspiration and always played his role in tough times. He said that deceased was noble human besides a courageous and Veteran Trade union leader.

 

Wani said that Rajpori always work with loyalty and dedication and he played magnified role in tough times and made us all proud. Wani while termed this demise as personal loss said that whole EJAC Family is in utter shock and the void created by the demise of Ab. Salaam Rajpori in the trade unionism can’t be filled.

 

He said Rajpori was an asset in the EJAC and has plyayed a tremendous role in framing the platform of Employees Joint Action Committee. Wani said that the demise of Rajpori is not only the loss to electric employees but a big blow to Employees Joint Action Committee.

 

EJAC president assured the kiths and kins of the diseased that whole employee fraternity in general and EJAC Family in particular stands with them at this crucial juncture, He prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
