KTMF strongly condemned the filing of a fresh charge sheet of sedition against seven Kashmir Students

Srinagar (PR): In the gathering the President expressed his deep sorrow that on one hand India is claiming to be the largest democracy and on the other hand they are leaving no stone un-turned to act as a Dictatorship when it comes to Kashmiri’s irrespective of the fact whether that Kashmiri is a student or a Trader. where in even the normal voice of decent is muzzled and held in contempt. He further asserted that peaceful protest is the right of every citizen and no one has a right to hold students responsible for voicing dissent.

In a function held at Jehangir Hotel on 15-01-2019, the newly elected President of the “Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation” Mohammad Sadiq Baqal strongly condemned the filing of a fresh charge sheet of sedition against seven Kashmir Students.

He further asserted that peaceful protest is the right of every citizen and no one has a right to hold students responsible for voicing dissent. Disagreement with policy and criticism of a Government is a basic fundamental right and efforts to shut voices of dissent amounts to frustration of a non performing administratively weak Government.
