Srinagar 16 Jan: Paying rich tributes to Lala Sahab on his 5th death anniversary Jammu Kashmir National Conference Senior Leader and former MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar described him a great philanthropist and selfless noble soul who always thought about the poor and destitute.
“Abdul Rehman Bhat popularly known as Lala Sahab was an exceptional personality who not only left his mark on political and religious fronts but worked relentlessly on social fronts through his philanthropic works. The people like him are crown of nations and the personalities like these stand as a symbol of glory for the living nations,” Ishfaq in a statement said.
Ishfaq expressed hope that the children of this great personality especially renowned journalists Akash Amin Bhat and Raja Mohiudin will follow the footprints of the father, will provid a beacon of light to those who are in grief and would continue to illuminate Kashmir.
