Non-Gazetted Forest Employees observes strike to seek fulfillment of demands

SRINAGAR, JAN 19 : The Non-Gazetted Forest Employees Association, Anantnag on Saturday observed a strike in protest against non-implementation of their demands which they called as already ‘agreed demands’ by all governments.

 

Employees staged a protest and raised slogans in favour of to fulfill their demands. “Our duty is like a war like duty and we have to face various risks. We have been requesting authorities earlier also to resolve our issues but nobody is paying heed to our problems. If the pay anomaly issue has been resolved in other departments, why are authorities turning deaf ear towards our issue. We are totally being ignored by the administration,” protesters said.

 

Protesting Employees added they have already Conveyed Higher authorities regarding this matter but they failed to solve our problem Now again we Appealed to Chief conservator Kashmir take serious note and Solve our problem by fulfilling our Genuine demands at an earliest.

 

The protestors asked the government to resolve the issues, failing which a long-term agitation would be launched. They urged the authorities to accept their long-pending demands and resolve them immediatel
