Anti Corruption Bureau produces Challan against the Divisional Manager SFC

Srinagar (VMS): Anti Corruption Bureau produced challan against the then Divisional Manager of State Forest Corporation.

Challan of Case FIR No. 40/2015 Police Station Vigilance Organization Kashmir (now P/S Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Kashmir) against accused public servants namely Peer Manzoor Ahmad Shah the then Divisional Manager, SFC ( Extraction South ) Harnag Anantnag has been produced before the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption Anantnag.

The instant Case was registered in P/S VOK, now P/S ACB Kashmir on the outcome of verification conducted by this bureau into the allegations that the  suspect Peer Manzoor Ahmad, then divisional Manager SFC Extraction Division South Harnag Anantnag had demanded and accepted Rs. 5000/- from the complainant namely Asif Shafi Shah S/o Mohammad Shafi Shah R/o Hazratbal Payeen Anantnag, contractor by profession as illegal gratification for submitting favourable report to the Managing Director SFC required for release of payment of the complainant due to him on account of transportation work of timber.

In a statement to Valley Media Service, ACB spokesman said that during the Verification the above mentioned facts disclosed cognizable offences committed by the accused public servant therefore, Case FIR No. 40/2015 U/S 5(2) JK PC Act SVT-2006 and 4-A of JK P. C Amendment Act 2014 was registered in P/S Vigilance Organization, Kashmir now P/S Anti-Corruption Bureau Kashmir and investigation was taken up. The investigation of the case was concluded as proved against the accused Public Servant.

The Charge Sheet of the case was produced today before the of Court of Special Judge Anti Corruption Anantnag.
