Jammu, Jan 21 Police on Monday arrested an inter-state narcotic smuggler with contraband of poppy straw in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Police this afternoon recovered a huge quantity of poppy straw from a Punjab based truck at T-Chowk Banihal in Ramban district,” police here said.
They said that special naka was laid at T- Chowk Banihal and during checking of vehicles, a truck (PB 02 BV 7665) was signalled to stop and put to thorough search.
