PDP’s Habba Kadal constituency incharge resigns

Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Habba Kadal constituency incharge Mudasir AminKhan has resigned from the basic membership of the party.

In a letter addressed to PDP president Mehbooba Mufti, Dar tendered resignation from the basic membership of the party.

“I am writing to let you know that I have decided to resign from Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party as incharge of its Habba Kadal constituency as well as its primary membership,” reads a letter sent by Khan to Mehbooba Mufti.

“It was with much hope and belief that the people of Jammu and Kashmir gave a mandate to JKPDP under the leadership of Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Saheb in the last assembly elections. However, the dismal performance under the PDP led government after his demise, people of Jammu and Kashmir not only suffered socio-economically but 1 personally believe that the principles which had led to the foundation of this party were observed in breach. In view of the present political circumstances especially the way party leadership is running its affairs, 1 hereby tender resignation from my basic membership of the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (JKPDP) on 20 January, 2019,” the letter reads
