Srinagar, Jan 29: The elder brother of ANI Bureau Chief Srinagar, Bilal Ahmad Bhat, passed away Tuesday morning after a brief illness.
Hundreds of locals including people from media fraternity participated in the funeral prayer of Parviz Ahmad Bhat who was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard at Palpora Sonwar in Srinagar.
The Secretary Information, Sarmad Hafeez also while expressing condolence with Bilal Ahmad Bhat and the bereaved family prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Director Information, Tariq Ahmad Zargar also condoled the demise and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Meanwhile, GNS also condoled the demise and beseeched Allah for eternal peace to departed soul and grant family strength to bear this irreparable loss
