Modi urges people to vote for stable and majority govt again

Surat, Jan 30  Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday urged the people to vote again for a stable, strong and majority government.
Without naming the Congress party, he said that those who did care for themselves only during six decades were now trying to make a mockery of his works. “But, without being affected by it, I will continue my mission to make a new India,” he said.
Addressing an event here on the occasion of the foundation laying and inauguration ceremonies of various developmental schemes including the beginning of construction of a new Airport terminal here at a coast of Rs 354 crore, Mr Modi said, “In the last four-and-half-year period, I could take big decisions and make big changes due to the power of your vote and not because of the power of Modi. The country had seen political instability for 30 years. There were hung Parliament and coalition government due to whom the country’s development was stuck and in some fields it even went backward.”
“In last four-and-half-year period, we have moved forward and the only reason behind it was that people had voted wisely and made a majority government. Each voter in the country understands the power of his or her vote and has seen as to how the country can move forward due to this. It has also increased the prestige of the country abroad,” Mr Modi added.
He said that he was moving forward with the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ (Development of all with participation of all) and trying to remove the shortcomings of the old system to make new India.
“But certain people were trying to make mockery of him. These are the same people who during their six -decade-long rule cared only for themselves and not for the country,” he pointed out without naming the Congress party or its president Rahul Gandhi.
Mr Modi said that the 10 fastest growing cities across the world were all in India and Surat was on the top of them
