Sadiq Baqal takes strong objection of the plans of PDD coming up with a new pre-paid meter installation
Srinagar: Mohammad Sadiq Baqal has taken strong objection of the plans of PDD to come up with a new pre-paid meter installation.
He observed that the top most priority of the P.D.D should to be look into plans that shall help it to get rid of such huge and unscheduled power cuts and erratic power supply. The department cannot even provide power supply for a minimum of 14 hours a day, even though it is the duty of the P.D.D to provide un interrupted power supply for 24 hours. Instead of thinking of new means and plans of providing relief to the suffering Kashmiri consumers they are more bothered about collections and fleecing the poor populace. If the department is so keen on revenue it would be worthwhile to get back the power plants from organisations like the NHPC, which get to harness the power potential of the state of J&K while as the common consumer of the same State is denied the fruits of its own resources.
