Bandipora, February 09 : The family of a 60-year-old man, who was taken to District Hospital Bandipora for treatment after complained serve chest pain alleged that he died due to the Medical negligence here on Friday.
The family members of the victim Ghulam Rasool Shergojri 60, resident of Quil Muqam Bandipora Said that he was Shifted to Bandipora hospital after complained Serve Chest pain early in the morning where he breathed his last, because of negligence of doctors, accusing doctors of glaring medical negligence that have led to the death of their Family head.
Family members claimed that had he been attended by doctors on time, the patient would have survived, added that he died because doctors didn’t attend patient properly. They alleged that he was not given proper treatment, he developed excessive pain and doctors in district hospital gave him medicines for stomach pain while he was suffering from chest pain that lead to the death of the patient, one of the family member told KNO.
They said that, It is clear that the death of the patient was caused due to the pure negligence of doctors, termed it unfortunate.
Soon after the death, a chaos broke out in Bandipora hospital, Family members and relatives ransacked a portion of the hospital and broke the glasses of Ambulances and other parts of District Hospital and beat staff members of hospital.
The victim’s family members demanded stern action against the responsible doctors. The family members also demanded that Probe should be ordered into the matter, so that culprits will be punished.
When Contacted CMO Bandipora, Dr Bilquees, while talking with KNO, refuted the allegations leveled by the family.
She said the patient did not die due to the negligence of doctors, it is totally baseless and Concocted, added that he was given proper Medical treatment.
He was taken brought dead before doctors could diagnose him. She added that, We have constituted a team of doctors to inquiry it and the result will come with in a day or two.(KNO)
