Trade bodies call bandh tomorrow against attacks on Kashmiris
Srinagar: The shopkeepers association of commercial hub Lal Chowk on Saturday held a protest demonstration against the ‘attack’ on Kashmiris outside state particularly in Jammu following the Lethpora attack on Thursday that left over 40 CRPF men dead and several others wounded.
Eyewitnesses said that the shopkeepers downed their shutters and assembled at Ghat Ghar raising slogans in favour of Jammu muslims and communal bigots.
They demanded that the government should take immediate and necessary steps to ensure safety of Kashmiris outside Valley. (Agencies)
