Babri Masjid Dispute: SC to Decide on Court-Appointed Mediator Today
The Supreme Court is likely to pass an order on whether to refer Ayodhya land dispute case to court-appointed mediator on Tuesday, 5 March.
Earlier, the apex court conducted another hearing on the politically sensitive Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute matter, with the five-judge Constitution bench adjourning the matter for six weeks so that the parties could finalise the translations and other documents required.
The court was expected to decide on the date when the hearings will start and come up with a schedule, but this was postponed because of a dispute between the Hindu and Muslim parties over finalisation of documents.
