Pulwama: Awantipora police on Saturday organised an interaction-cum-cultural programme at district police lines ground in Jawbehara area of the district.
The event was organised under Civic Action Programme in which performers exhibited their talent by performing in various cultural activities including singing, dancing and comedy.
The Programme started in the morning at about 10:30 am, in presence of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Awantipora, Tahir Saleem Khan, with large number of public gathering present in the function.
The participants presented various pieces which were highly appreciated and applauded by the audience with full enthusiasm and fervour.
The programme concluded with an award ceremony, in which the SSP Tahir Saleem Khan awarded cash prises among the participants.
Meanwhile, Dy.SP Awantipora Rashid Akbar, Dy.SP Tral Ajaz Ahmad, Dy.SP Pampore Riyaz Ahmad, DySP district police lines Awantipora Ajaz Ahmad and concerned SHOs were also present on the occasion.
