Srinagar, Mar 16: The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir has expressed deep shock over the loss of lives in a tragic accident in Ramban today and conveyed his deepest condolences to bereaved families.
In a statement issued to KPS, G.A. Mir expressed profound grief over the loss of lives in a tragic accident at Ramban and described the incident as very unfortunate, tragic and painful. I have no words to express my grief over the loss of precious lives, G.A. Mir said.
He emphasized the State Govt to take effective measures to prevent such mishaps especially on Jammu Srinagar National highway besides initiating action against those violating traffic norms.
Mir also asked the traffic department to keep a tight vigil on traffic violation in order to ensure safety of people.
G A Mir offered deepest condolences to the bereaved families and sympathized with them.
