Srinagar (KPS): For the first time in Jammu and Kashmir’s Journalism field, a news agency has announced “free umrah package ” for its daily newspaper hawkers.
Kashmir Press Service Media Group announced this package in favor of those hawkers, whose newspaper circulation will be more than 700 per day for one year and Scooty for those, who will cross target of 500.
Editor-In-Chief Raja Mohiudin while addressing a gathering of its agency employees at Press Club said, “It’s for the first time in the history that news Hawkers will get a chance to perform Umrah by completing a simple target”.
He further added, “Its our token of love for these hawkers who have left no stone unturned to make this agency a worthy family. I wish every hawker will complete target of 700 and will go om Umrah together Insha Allah”.
The event was attended by Chief editor, Sub-editors, Reporters, Multimedia Editor and local newspaper hawkers. On the occasion Chief Editor distributed gifts among employees mostly comprising daily hawkers. (KPS)
