PSC Lecturers hold meeting; discuss issues

 

Srinagar: PSC Lecturers held a meeting under its President Faisal Nayeem Parry. The meeting was convened to review the progress of the Charter of Demands concerning the +2 Lecturers (Direct recruits).
President in his adress welcome Commissioner Secretary Sarita Chouhan for assuming charge and hope under her able administrative skills the department will touch new heights set new standards.

The members appreciated the department especially Hon’ble Advisor Mr. Khursheed Ahmad Ganai, Ex Commissioner Secretary Mr. A.KSahu and Director School Education Kashmir/Jammu for their recent efforts to fill up the vacancies of CEOs, DIET Principals and Higher Secondary School Principals as the official work was badly hit in such institutions in the absence of Heads.

The participants of the crucial meet focussed on the long term and short term demands of the fraternity, particularly grantingof ACP/Running Grade, Placement of Lecturers as Sr.Lecturers pending since 2013, restoration of 40% Higher Education Quota and annulment of draconian SRO 202.
The members also took a strong exception to some self-styled persons who attempt to project themselves as the representatives of the +2 lecturers in the School Education Department and in media. The Association has long before disowned these unscruplous self-styled leaders who have nothing to do with +2 lecturers fraternity and as such media and the officials of the department are requested not to entertain their statements on behalf of Lecturers working at +2 Level.

Meanwhile a delegation of J&K PSC Lecturers Association (CWC Jammu) led by its convener Sh. Manjeet Chib called upon the Advisor Khursheed Ganaie and apprised him of the demand related to ACP & requested him to expedite the process.

The Advisor assured that the long pending demands of +2 Lecturers shall be fulfilled soon and a road map is going to be prepared for the same. The delegation also called upon other officers of the school education department in this regard.
