Pakistan violates ceasefire at LoC
Jammu, Feb 9 (UNI): Pakistan troops on Sunday yet again violated the ceasefire by resorting to unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC)
in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, to which the Indian army replied in a befitting manner.
Defence spokesman said that around 1250 hrs, Pakistani troops started unprovoked firing with small arms and later resorted to intense shelling
with mortars along the LoC in Balakot and Mendhar sectors in District Poonch.
On Saturday also, Pakistan Army had resorted to unprovoked firing along the LoC in the Poonch Sector and in the exchange of fire, Naik Rajeev
Singh Shekhawat was killed.
Naik Rajeev Singh Shekhawat, 36, belonged to village Luhakna Khurd, District Jaipur, Rajasthan and is survived by his wife, Usha Shekhawat.
