J&K HWA organizes Blood Donation Camp at SMHS Hospital
Srinagar, Feb 18: A blood donation camp was organised at Blood Bank of SMHS Hospital Srinagar by J&K Human Welfare Association. Good number of individuals donated blood at the event. Renowned Socio political activist and National Tv Debater Inam Un Nabi graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
Inam Un Nabi while speaking to the organisers and donors said worldwide millions of lives are saved every year because of blood collected by blood banks through such blood donation camps. Much more can be saved if we can popularize this habit among the youth and can develop a habit to do it regularly.
Inam praised those people who donated the blood. One feel good and satisfied once they donated the blood, Inam said.
Speaking to media persons, Saifullah Farooq Chairman JK Welfare Association said that the blood donation camp was organized with an aim to generate awareness on blood donation, and to save lives during emergencies.
Syed Aman of Incharge Srinagar, JKHWA , expressed sincere gratitude to all the voluntary donors and all who supported the camp.
later Holy Book ‘Quran’ were gifted to donors at the blood donation camp. Others who were present from JKHWA includes Irshad Khan, Aijaz Ahmad, Media Incharge Burhan Nazir Bhat.
