Shopian, Feb 21, KNT: Three youth who left their bike behind and fled from the spot after they were stopped by police at a naka here in Srinagar city were arrested by police on Friday.
Official sources said that a formal case against the trio was registered against them at police station Rainawari.
Pertinently, during a routine naka near Zindah Shah Masjid Rainawari area, a biker carrying two pillion riders was asked to stop, however, the trio left the bike behind and fled away from the spot.
Police after investigation arrested the three youth identified as Danish Shafi of Nowshera, Adil Bashir and Sahil Ahmed, both residents of Habak Srinagar.
“A case vide FIR number 9/2020 under 353 has been registered against them.”
