Jammu, Feb 22 : A driver was killed when a truck he was travelling in skidded off and plunged into a deep gorge on Saturday in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The driver was identified as Jagdish Kumar, resident of Ramnagar, district Udhampur
Police here said that a truck loaded with electronic items was in its way from Jammu to Srinagar.
“The vehicle when reached near Banihal, the driver lost the control and it fell into a deep gorge,” police said.
The body has been shifted to the mortuary of district hospital for further legal formalities, police added.
