On the directions of D.C Baramuula, Tehsildar Singhpora, Dr Nisar Ahmad and Naib Tehsildar, Ghulam Mustufa today held a cleanliness drive in the main market of Teshsil Singhpora.During the drive all the shopkeepers were informed to keep their shop frontyardsclean and clear, failing which they must face severe punishment and fine.
They also went into the Govt Boys High School Singhpora and informed them about the directions from the administration.The school officials were told to plant trees on the barren land outside the walls of school. As most of the garbage was seen accumulated there outside, a machine was put into the action and all the garbage was dumped into the dumping holes.
They further informed the voilaters at Mirgund who had illegally kept the cow dung cakes along side the national highway to immediately remove it from there and make the highway neat and clean.
They further informed that who so ever breaks the order will face a severe action.
