Srinagar, Mar 6 : A civilian was killed by unidentified gunmen at Tral in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Friday evening.
Official sources said that unidentified gunmen fired at a civilian, Shabir Ahmad Bhat, outside his residence at Tral in Pulwama. “The injured, identified as Ghulam Nabi Ahangar, was immediately taken to a hospital where he succumbed,” they said.
They said the gunmen managed to escape, adding security forces have been rushed to the area and a search operation has been launched to nab the attackers. “Police has registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident,” they added. UNI
