Jammu , March 10, : Four siblings and their mother were killed when their house collapsed under a boulder in Udhampur district of Jammu region during intervening night of 9 and March 10, officials said.
They said the boulder hit the house, beneath a mountain, at Upper Barmeen sector Ramnagar. The dwelling collapsed, resulting into on the spot death of four members of the family and injuries to two others, one of whom later succumbed to the wounds.
The deceased have been identified as Sharda Devi (35) wife Raj Singh and her three daughters—Aarti Devi (16), Anu Devi (14), Swani Devi (12) and 10-year-old son Pawan Singh. Raj Singh son of Munshi Ram was shifted to District Udhampur for treatment, they said.
A police official confirmed to GNS the incident and said that a case has been registered with regard to it. (GNS)
