Srinagar, Mar 10: Formation of Apni Party in Jammu and Kashmir at this critical junction of its history is a betrayal with our future generations. Apni Party is not the “B” team of BJP; it is the BJP of Jammu and Kashmir. It is assembled together by the NSA and the Ministry of Home affairs with the blessings of the RSS for completing the unfinished task of 1947 of the Hindu Maha Sabha (Now the RSS /BJP) to change the demographic character of the only Muslim majority state in the Union of India.This was stated by ANC President Begum Khalida Shah currently under house arrest since 05th August 2019, in a statement issued to the press in Srinagar today.
A Statement issued to KNS , Begum Khalida Shah stated that the Apni Party has signed its political death warrant by selling their honor, conscience and their souls to the BJP and the RSS even before the Supreme Court of India is to pronounce its Judgment on the unconstitutional, undemocratic, illegal and unlawful decision of the BJP Government’s abrogation of Article 370 /35 A, unilaterally. Knowing fully well that even the Supreme Court of India did not have the powers to amend, alter or abrogate Article 370 of the Indian Constitution as Article 370 forms the basic Pillar of the Indian Constitution that cannot be touched upon under any circumstance. The Supreme Court will overturn the decision of abrogation of Article 370, the ANC chief said.
The ANC chief further stated that an overwhelming majority of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh stand united with the Political leadership as agreed upon under the Gupkar Deceleration of 4th August 2019, which will ensure restoration of Article 370 to its original form. Article 371 ,Statehood ,Domicile rights, Development etc, the so called agenda of the BJP and its Jammu and Kashmir unit “The Apni Party” cannot be an alternative to Article 370 ,Special Status of J&K State, its Constitution ,Flag and its Boundaries with thousands of years of recorded history – A Sovereign Guarantee pledge to the people of Jammu and Kashmir by the Union of India through its Constituent Assembly ,its Parliament and its elected Prime Minister given to the people of J&K State to the elected Prime Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and its Constituent Assembly based on the Instrument of Accession . This is the stark reality of Kashmir. The BJP and its Jammu and Kashmir unit, the BJP Apni Party may find it convenient to forget the past but the people of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh will never, Begum Khalida stated.
The dreams of the BJP and the RSS and their J&K unit will remain unfulfilled .Politics of hate will fail in the country and time is not far before the BJP government at the center will crumble under its own weight brought about by abject failure in all fronts of governance and the seeds of hatred spilled all over.This policy that witnessed the heart wrenching Delhi riots are rejected by the masses of India who have demonstrated that they are wedded to the idea of aSecular and a Democratic India. The People of Jammu and Kashmir will give a befitting reply to the BJP and its newly formed Kashmir unit by ensuring a stunning defeat to one and all in any electoral battle in the coming months the statement said (KNS)
