Sopore, Mar 12: Police on Thursday slapped Public Safety Act (PSA) against an alleged drug peddler in the North Kashmir’s Sopore town.
It is for the 3rd time in 3 weeks that Sopore police have recommended another name for action under the Public Safety Act for the involvement of supplying narcotic drugs to youth of the Sopore.
A police spokesperson identified the drug peddler as Tanveer Hassan son of Ghulam Hassan of Reban Sopore.
He said that the said person was a wanted drug peddler against whom locals demanded stern action under law.
